»He begins his musical studies in Barcelona : piano with A.Soler , choir conducting with E. Ribó and orchestral direction with A. Ros-Marbà, further in Germany (Würzburg) he perfects piano with P.Schulz-Thierbach, orchestration with B.Hummel and choir und orchestral conducting with Hans Reinartz . In Stuttgart he does composition with Milko Kelemen and on a regular basis he studies musical phenomenology and orchestral direction under maestro Sergiu Celibidache and is considered one of his most distinguished pupils.
»He has been named artistic director and founder of different choir and orchestral formations and has directed the International Festival of Music in Cadaqués ( Spain ) and the "Festival of Music of Cultures". Actually he is chief conductor of Barcelona Sinfonietta Orchestra and Virtèlia Chamber Orchestra.
»He is a regular guest conductor of chamber and symphonic orchestral formation as well in his home country as outside of Spain.
» In addition to his activities of conductor he realizes an important work in the domain of pedagogy . Since its foundation (year 1988) to 2010, he has been the director of the Virtèlia music school in Barcelona . Besides he teaches chamber music, musical culture, orchestral coaching , and he organizes workshops and courses for choir and orchestra work in different conservatoires and music schools,in Spain and abroad.
