TRAINING COURSE FOR CHOIR AND ORCHESTRA CONDUCTORS (tribut to Sergiu Celibidache)

  • directed to choir and/or orchestra directors and future directors of instrumental ensembles or orchestras; musicians instrumentalist, pedagogues and teachers.
  • the objective is to be able to equip the musical entities and instrumental ensembles of the country, of prepared directors, aware of their musical, relational and psychological responsibilities and, with a good management technique.
  • thematic: basic gestural technique of direction / musical phenomenology (theory of interpretation) / musical analysis / practices with pilot choir and instrumental groups.
  • structure of the courses and options:

1 – PREVIOUS & CONCERT

  • A call PREVIOUS the attendance to a CONCERT (to be determined) in which it is informed and it explains to the assistants all the details on the interpreters, works of the concert etc., the most essential fragments of the concert are reviewed and the attitudes, that a public must have at each moment of the audition, are prepared.
  • With multimedia support, music fragments of the concert in question are discussed and visualized. and the interpretations are analyzed.
  • The P & C session has an open character and at the end there is a colloquium between the attendees and the speaker.
  • The activity takes place in a local or restaurant (to be determined) and a catering service is offered, during which there is the opportunity to continue talking and discussing the subject.

2 – LETTER & SOUND

  • It is a “round table” formed by musicians and writers in which dialogue is held about the interrelation between literature and music.
  • Special attention is paid to our musicians and poets but also to references to universal literature and music.
  • With multimedia support, pieces of lieder, operas, etc. are visualized,commented and analyzed.
  • After the dissertation, an open dialogue with the public is opened.
  • The activity takes place in a local or restaurant (to be determined) and a catering service is offered, during which there is the opportunity to continue talking and discussing the subject.

3 – APPETIZER & MUSIC.

  • This is an open rehearsal perfoemed by a camera group (to be determined) led by a specialist, in permanent dialogue with the musicians and the audience, followed by the corresponding complete audition of the work.
  • Then a conversation between the musicians and the audience about the details of the rehearsal and the audition.
  • The activity takes place in a local or restaurant (to be determined) and a catering service is offered, during which there is the opportunity to continue talking and discussing the subject.

Note:

  • each conference model can be performed alone or as part of a cycle.
  • It also contemplates the possibility of doing a cycle of conferences alternating the three exposed models.
